Recolor

Learning to recolor an image was interesting, it's a long and pretty tough process. I struggled in recoloring my own image because of my hair, it became hard to get into the various smaller points and nooks within the image. Overall the assignment came naturally.

This assignment was interesting. A greater amount of variation in the use of the eyes and addition of coloring aspects would have increased how interesting it looked. There are multiple versions of the document uploaded specifically to show the difference in export qualities.

Somewhere I've never been

This project was a little hard to start, I had a lot of issues selecting myself because of the pattern of my shirt and also because of the hair pulling parts of the original background. I added in my own shadow because it looked weird that everyone else had a shadow and I didn't. This was the final result.

Poster

This was one of the more difficult projects so far, it was hard to even get my face to show up and I had to switch the picture I used about 4 times.

Mesh Tool Project

This project was one of the ones I had more fun with so far this semester. I ran into issues because of the dark colors but approached it the best way I could. I also had issues with the holes of the ocarina but figured out an approach that worked well.

This assignment made me change up my approach multiple times. Fortunately in the end I came to a result I'm satisfied with. Words I used to describe myself were free, charismatic, off, visual, and curious. From them I produced a variety of logos and after going with the one that had the most potential I developed them into a new version of said logo and created business cards based off each. I've lost track of time spent on this particular project.

My sketch ideas about logos based off myself. I think I spread myself a bit too thin with word choice because it was hard for me to come up with some ideas based off the words. Being more general and using positive language would have helped. The logos I found the most interest in were the ones based on the word off.
